The location was perfect, with easy access to historical castles, National Trust properties, and stately homes. Additionally, being close to the sea at Newcastle was a bonus. The cottage was absolutely charming, with cozy interiors and beautiful stone walls that added a touch of traditional elegance. It felt like stepping into a storybook home. The general areas were well-maintained and accessible, making it easy for us seniors to navigate around.

I would have appreciated a bit more assistance from the staff, especially for us elderly folks. It would have been nice if the children working there could have provided more guidance or support during our stay.
